Bloom Baby Bloom 24 x 36

Bloom Baby Bloom

24 × 36 inches | Original Mixed Media on Gallery-Wrapped Canvas

Bloom Baby Bloom is a joyful celebration of the unexpected beauty found in the Texas landscape. A brilliant yellow cactus bloom takes center stage, surrounded by layers of prickly pear pads in weathered shades of sage, olive, and soft green against a deep blue background.

The collaged vessel is built from fragments of vintage paper, while layered paint, expressive marks, and hand-applied textures give the cactus an aged, imperfect character. The contrast of the vibrant bloom against the rugged cactus captures that fleeting moment when something bold and beautiful emerges from an otherwise hardy landscape.

Playful, earthy, and full of personality, Bloom Baby Bloom brings a fresh interpretation of Texas botanicals to the Sage Briar Studio collection.
