Duck Dog Quartet No. 1 20 X 20

Duck Dog Quartet No. 1

20 × 20 inches | Original Mixed Media on Gallery-Wrapped Canvas

Duck Dog Quartet No. 1 celebrates the sporting dog with a playful, collected feel. Four collaged dogs surround a central mallard, bringing together familiar imagery of the field with unexpected color, pattern, and texture.

Each dog is built by hand from layers of vintage papers and mixed media, allowing fragments of the past to become part of each figure. Soft, weathered tones of dusty rose, blue, ochre, and muted green give the piece the timeworn character signature to Sage Briar Studio.

Both nostalgic and contemporary, this one-of-a-kind original brings a spirited piece of sporting life into the home.
