Vintage Collage Horse

Vintage Collage Horse

22 × 28 inches | Original Mixed Media on Gallery-Wrapped Canvas

Vintage Collage Horse brings the timeless spirit of the horse to life through layers of vintage paper, expressive marks, and mixed media. Fragments of printed pages form the body of the horse, allowing pieces of the past to remain visible within its silhouette and giving the work a beautifully weathered, collected character.

The contrast between the recognizable equine form and unexpected vintage typography gives the piece a balance of rustic nostalgia and contemporary expression. Each torn edge, printed word, and hand-applied detail becomes part of the horse’s story—a reflection of Sage Briar Studio’s signature approach to giving old materials new life through art.

Distinctive and one of a kind, Vintage Collage Horse brings an artful Western presence to both traditional and modern spaces.
